I've met some awesome people on the road through Couchsurfing. We've shared spaces, meals, drinks, stories, and sometimes shampoo, and made a few long enduring friendships. In a world of increasing isolation, it's nice to connect with new humans and remember how to people.

Coffee is a daily ritual, music is my vocation, my life, and my obsession, and I dabble in nerding. I am a sucker for sipping beverages and people watching. I consume lots of media about media, mostly in the form of video essays about art and entertainment.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

My musical preferences lean soul, rock, blues, RnB, and Americana/folk rock these days, but as a musician it's impossible to pick any steady favorites to the exclusion of others. I can't objectively categorize my own movie/book preferences, except that I do geek out about creative processes and decision making. So basically I'm quietly insufferable, but tend to wear a good muzzle.

In 2015, I abandoned training as a psychotherapist and researcher to pursue music full-time. I’ve never regretted it.

I'm a professional songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist, recording artist, and session musician. I'm obviously all too happy to share too much about all of these things.

I barely graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and spent five long years on active duty after that, and later attended grad school for counseling psychology and trained clinically as a psychotherapist, which I also quit. I'm a very good quitter, when things need quittin'.

I'm open to anything you have to share! I'm insatiably curious and love getting to know people and picking brains.

Music, conversation, and I can edit the crap out of your writing, if you'd like. I’m also reasonably domestically skilled (clean), and I can get around the kitchen fairly well (cook). I've worked a fair amount with kids, so if you have 'em, I won't be awkward, unless they beat me up and taunt me mercilessly thereafter.
