I just finished 1,5 years working as a landscaper in Auckland and now travel around NZ in a 4wd van with my misses.

I think it's a very good way to meet up with locals, other travellers and get away from the proper like resort holiday or so.
Also I reckon it's a bit of karma. If I host people and be good to them, the same happens hopefully to me.(wow..that sounds hippie😂)
