About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world and interact with local people to get a better understanding of the culture.

ABOUT ME

I am currently finishing up my third year of college. I am working on a double major in History and Justice & Peace Studies with a minor in environmental studies. As soon as I finish my undergraduate education I plan to teach English in Japan for a couple of years, and hopefully spend at least 3-5 years living in Japan and mastering the language. I am also hoping to go to culinary school and work as a pastry chef for a few years. My end goal is to get my PhD in Cultural Anthropology with an emphasis on food and culture and Japanese culture (or possibly Japanese food and culture!). Naturally, I love all things relating to food, culture, and history.

Interests

I love to hike, bike, do yoga, read books, drink tea, kayak, visit historical sites/museums, and of course eat delicious food (I am a bit of a foodie).
