ABOUT ME

I am an undergrad at Boston University Majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I live in New Jersey, but I'd say the majority of my personality comes from Minnesota (Where I grew up). I just became an international traveler this summer when I took part in a cycling ride from Ottawa, Canada to Washington, D.C. with wounded Canadian, American, and Danish war veterans! I'm hoping this will just be the beginning of my travels. Cheers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to surf and hang out. Unfortunately, I can't host because I'm a college student who lives in a cubicle.

I love the outdoors (Hiking, cycling, kayaking, backpacking... basically anything outside). I also thoroughly enjoy anything with a motor. I've grown up riding dirt bikes and hope to have motorcycle soon. On the artsy side of things, I play the drums and the ukulele. People tell me this is an odd combination but I think they are two great instruments for two very separate occasions. I also love food and cooking (you might call me a burger connoisseur).

Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series
Music: If its music, I like it, but I'm a huge fan of symphonic music and classic rock.
Movies: The Lord of the Rings, all Marx Brothers films, The Dark Night, any movie involving fast cars.

I went on a cycling trip with wounded military veterans from Ottawa, Canada to Washington, D.C. We ended in D.C. on the fourth of July and got to be in the parade! The riders were some of the most amazing people I have ever met. It was an incredible and motivating experience.

All types of people! Whenever I am met with anything that is foreign to me, I have a drive to learn about it. I love understanding and learning new things.
