About Me

Hi to everyone who came across my profile :)
carpe diem is a really good attitude to life - even if the literary meaning is a bit off.
Me, Josi Schlagbauer, 19 years old, born and mostly raised in Regensburg, Germany (moved to a nearby village then I was 8), finished with school since last year and about to start studying biology.
In my spare time I love to be lacy as in either do nothing or read, draw or watch films. On the other hand I can't keep myself from moving that long. If that happens I like to go on walks, cycle somewhere or go swimming. But if I am still not powered out, my younger brother will make me do some work outs with him (otherwise I am apparently too annyoing for him).
Accidentally going on small adventures because I got lost somewhere or have to much time on my hands is part of my daily life. I am always down to be up to no good and love to be spontaneous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am curious about the world, the people and the different cultures. Couchsurfing is the perfect place to see lots of new places while meeting new people. Having someone to tell you about non touristy places is just a big bonus. Exchanging stories, sharing adventures and seeing different lifestyles will make visiting new cities much more interesting. I can't wait!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is a lot! I don't want to spoil anything here - you will just have to ask me ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely help you improve your German since it is my mothertongue (plus a few Bavarian words if you would like - we have some great swear words). My English also is quite good, if you need help with that.
Taking karate lessons for some years I am able to show you how to throw some punches or kicks but a warning here: I might not be the best teacher out there.
If you ever wanted to learn how to make a bonfire you've come to the right person!

Countries I’ve Visited
