I've finally decided to make a profile on CS after hearing from friends over the years all the great experiences they have had. So please be kind and remember I'm never going to get a review if you don't take a chance on me ;)

I'm an easygoing, curious soul who’s happiest exploring new places, meeting people from all walks of life, and sharing stories over good food or music. I’ve recently stepped into the flexible world of freelancing (after spending the last year working at a record label), which has opened the door to more travel, creativity, and spontaneity in my life.

I work remotely as a digi content producer but beyond the screen, I’m big on community, culture, and meaningful connections. I’m also a bit of a foodie, love a swim or a hike, and will never say no to a sunset view or a local market. Seriously everyone describes me as a water baby, because I will be by the water every single day possible.

I consider myself respectful, open-minded, and low-maintenance — always happy to adapt to the vibe of wherever I land. Whether we’re chatting for hours or just crossing paths briefly, I value any chance to learn from others and experience a place through a local’s eyes.

"How we spend our days is how we spend our lives" is one of my favourite quotes and I'm committed to spending my life doing more than just sitting behind a computer working.

Travel, for me, has always been about people first. I’ve found that the most memorable moments don’t come from tourist attractions or guidebooks — they come from conversations around kitchen tables, spontaneous adventures, and seeing how people go about their everyday lives in different corners of the world.

Couchsurfing represents something really special in a time where so much travel has become transactional. It’s about trust, generosity, curiosity, and cultural exchange — and that’s the kind of travel experience I’m searching for. I’m not interested in just passing through places. I want to understand them, even if just a little, and I think one of the best ways to do that is through the people who call those places home.

I’m here because I love the idea of sharing space and stories. Of giving and receiving kindness. Of building a global community based on mutual respect, openness, and shared experience. Whether it’s trading travel tips, cooking a meal together, or just swapping life stories over a coffee or wine — I’m grateful for any opportunity to connect with others in a genuine way.

And of course, I hope to one day return the favour and offer my own couch (or spare room) to others when I’m back home or settled somewhere long enough. For now, I come with a sense of adventure, deep appreciation for your hospitality, and a willingness to listen, learn, and contribute to whatever vibe you’ve got going on in your space.

Music is a big part of my world — I’m a massive Lorde fan (forever and always), and also love artists like Banks, Olivia Dean, Balu Brigada, Role Model, and Cleo Sol. Basically, anything that hits you in the feelings or elevates your mood.

Movies? I’m into everything from indie coming-of-age stories to chaotic multiverse madness. A few all-timers: The Talented Mr. Ripley (I said what I said), Call Me By Your Name, The Way Way Back, Lady Bird, Everything Everywhere All At Once, and yes — Shrek, because taste can be both refined and iconic.

As for books, I recently loved Swimming in the Dark — such a beautiful, bittersweet read. I also really connected with The Perks of Being a Wallflower, What You Are Looking For Is In The Library. I’m drawn to stories that dig deep into identity, connection, and those big messy feelings we all pretend not to have.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Met up with a bunch of fellow Lorde fans from across the globe in Europe and we went to a bunch of festivals and her shows, including even Russia (this was back in 2018).
It was so cool to meet in real life and make a few weeks of laughs, memories, and good times seeing one of our favourite artists. We even met Lorde herself on the trip!! And we all still keep in touch to this day!
