Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Be a cool host...and a cooler surfer

As much as I like to,I can't host everyone though..when my time/schedule permits, I don't mind meeting up for drinks....or whateva....be warned, we might end up going to the cinema instead

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My 1st CS experience was as a surfer in Nov 2010. Ingrid was kind to host me at her place in Brussels for 3 days. That travel turned out to be one my best travels. As I was traveling alone, it was nice to talk to someone and get to know the place better.

Now, it's mostly hosting, but I hope to get the chance to surf again when I do travel around

Interests

1) Traveling - Can't get enough of it. I love to hear travel stories as well (love the funny ones!)

2) Food - How could I not love eating! Food is aplenty in this part of the world, and I'm pretty blessed to be able to enjoy a variety of stuff. I've eaten some "exotic" food which people may find gross - bats, snakes, hedgehog/porcupines etc...and I'm usually open to new food...really!I'm currently trying this "sea bird's nest" stuff...who knew you could get bird's nest in the sea :P....gooey stuff, but as the Chinese say, just ignore the taste and think of the benefits that you will reap later...hmmm...pretty deep stuff!

3) Hiking - I hike mostly during the weekends nearby my place.Sometimes,I go for hiking trips at neighboring country,Indonesia.Just for the fun of it and to keep me active.

4) Languages - Teach me, please!....I took some Japanese class a few years back, but that gotten rusty since I had no one to practice it with...fast forward to 2017, I'm trying to learn some Spanish right now

Music, Movies, and Books

1) Movies - My personal favourite is Hachikō

2) Music - I love music and listen to most types of music - currently into Mac Ayres,Sabrina Claudio and lofi music

3) Books - errm...do magazines & newspapers count? I must admit, I've not done much of reading as much as I'd like to

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* I must say, one of the "amazing" things I've seen so far was the indigenous people of Sapa in Vietnam. They are so tiny and they can walk very far! With all of that walking, you might think they have muscular calves. Quite the contrary though
* Traveling and crossing the Krygz/Uzbek border

Teach? Teach you a word of two of the my native languange....if you can handle that, I could teach you more of that ;P
