I'm recently graduated from university with a degree in wildlife biology. I love the outdoors and being immersed in nature. I hope to one day research animal behavior and study big cats to try and help with the human conflict in the southern and western parts of Africa. I've decided to travel Western Europe for 4 months to see beautiful places, meet amazing people, and share captivating stories! I am a kind and respectful person wanting to make friends while I travel this giant world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to go see as many wonderful places as I can, but it can get lonely when traveling by yourself. I'm on couch surfing to meet new people that know the city or area and show me around or at least point me in the right directions. I love to sit, drink some wine or beer over a yummy meal and talk for hours about funny stories, crazy encounters, and "small world" moments. At the end of this adventure, I want my memory of a place to not just be about a beautiful castle, but the wonderful people I got to share it with.

Interests

I'm interested in wildlife, hiking, football, being outside, and enjoying amazing views. I'm also interested in meeting new people and talking about an endless number of topics to get to know them more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music! Love the oldies (40s-80s) and a sucker for pop 90s :)
Movies: I have an old soul, and romantic old movies get me every time like Casablanca and an Affair to Remeber, and don't get me started on Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks. But I also love to laugh at comedies that are silly. Maybe even a Disney movie here and there. I'm a big kid at heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a 7 day back country backpacking trip through Wrangell St. Elias National Park in McCarthy, AK. Then did a 3 days trip through Kluane National Park in Haines Junction, Yukon. Traveled to Whitehorse Yukon, Vancouver, BC, Seattle, WA, and Orcas Island all in one life changing journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can read/play music. I've played the violin since I was 8, and I love to sing! I've worked with birds for the last two summers as an avian field biologist, so if we are in the states I can teach you about some birds!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories, laughter, some baking skills (I love dessert), music lessons, and a nice long chat over a few beers or a bottle of wine on me.
