About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Josie and I am from Scotland.I am interested in the arts, activism, exploring new places, design, being outdoors and meeting new people.

IMportant: At the moment I am moving house, so it is difficult for me to host in July or August. I also get many, many requests (over 5 a day!) so I am sorry if I don't get back to you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently happy to consider hosting :) I cant commit to far in advance really, but lets chat about it. I get lots of requests so I usually only accept people who have similar interests to me, or who are coming for jobs/flat hunting/ thing of moving here- rather than people who are on holiday. Just because I am pressed for time / space. I am really sorry if I don't reply to your messages, I try to keep up but sometimes it's impossible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have Wwoofed and Helpxed lots and lots . I have signed up to couchsurfing this year because although I love working hard for my accommodation, it's not feasible to do short stays with woofing and by the nature of the whole farming thing, it's hard to find places to stay in the City. But I can still do the washing up!

I could stay in hostel but I would really love to be meeting new people and finding out about their cities, rather than trudging along the beaten track.

Interests

camping, community, singing, zines, coffee shops, bike culture (although I dont know much about bikes, I just like toodling around on them), farms, galleries, lazy days, crazy days, animals, family fun parks, cooking, eating (vegan, vegetarian, omnivorous, I have been them all, who know what I will be when I meet you!), people who bend rules, people who don't bend rules, poster deisgn, kids, guinea pigs, co-operatives, self organising, ceilidhs, camping.
