HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ive had some amazing experiences surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I would say that I am a person shaped by different Phases.
Sometimes if I get all to much caught up in the day to day routines. After a while I then get the feeling, that I am not interacting with individuals anymore but only the roles they represent in society, as if there has been a loss of personality. Such moments leave me in a state of melancholy and then I start to wonder what has happened with humanity, the social side of us humans. Interactions, Empathy, Understanding, have they been erased in an act of system stabilisation? In this fast and always changing world with its tendency of always wanting to be more, have more, strive better, harder, faster, with this ideology of constant and endless growth, I am left alone.
And it is this state in wich I need to change my perspective.
When I realise that I am only looking at the things that bother me, that take my hope and my happyness. I realise that I have forgotten about the Individual, the Bond, the Love and general togetherness.
And to change my course of thought into such a directions I need interactions that are build throu closeness, throu Interest, throu Trust.
If it is sitting in the Bus and starting a chat with another passenger, if it is hitchhiking and connecting in a limited time with a stranger or if it is Couchsurfing and its joy about sharing moments, experiences and worldviews. In the end those are my methods to get my mind back onto the path that gives it Joy.
And this is the reason why I love the mentality that Couchsurfing brings :)
