ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, easy going, down to earth person who loves to meet new people and experience new things. I am interested in a lot of things - music (mainly rock/metal but listen to some folk, jazz, classical - whatever really!), films, art, architecture, good conversation and good laughs! I love to travel and like to get a bit of history and culture in wherever I go, as well as sampling the local drinks and meeting people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am pretty new to the Couchsurfing thing, so I'll have a better answer to this in a month or so! At the moment I've been attending meet ups and hanging out with people whilst I've been in Stockholm and hope to surf around the rest of Sweden! Eventually I'd like to return the karma by hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far just meeting people and having some good times, but hopefully more experiences are to come!

Going to gigs (mainly rock/metal but open to anything), cultural activities like museums/historical locations etc., socialising and meeting new people, and generally trying new things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - rock, metal, jazz, folk, classical, pretty much anything with instruments!
Movies - anything but chickflicks. I like to watch films from different countries as I think they can give you a local perspective on a place.
Books - I love to read so anything interesting! I'm currently working my way through a Song of Ice and Fire (nerd alert), and some highlights of books I've read have been Murakami, Dickens, Orwell.... the list could go on for a while...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in a waterfall in Croatia and partied all night in an office block overlooking the whole city in Berlin.
