About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world and do my best to understand it.

ABOUT ME

As far as a description of myself, I'm an outgoing, down to earth person. I'm very energetic, always down for an adventure and to try new things.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that everyone has a duty to live their life to the fullest. Too many people waste their lives staying in one area, one place, one small group of friends and are afraid to see the worth. Now that's just an awful way to live. Get out there, see the world and dive into it. There's too many amazing places, experiences, people, and well, food of course that shouldn't be passed up. Also, I feel that everyone can also do their part to benefit the world. Delve into your passion and go as far as you can with it. Reach your hand out to help another, even if you can just change one life in a positive way, that'll mean the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used CS when I was in India traveling around as a solo traveler, it went great and I met a lot of amazing people, I mostly stayed in Nepal on my trip but India was quite the experience that's for sure and CS really helped.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed in a few hosts home that were really great and met some pretty awesome people either at the house or just while traveling. It's pretty fun.

Interests

I'm a very artsy person so that has a lot to do with my interests. I like making videos, painting, drawing, etc... I also like being adventurous, I just am in love with the sunshine and being active so yeahh. I also love food, but then again, who doesn't? haha

Music, Movies, and Books

Honestly, when it comes to movies I'd probably rather make a movie than watch one. I blame working in phone customer service being stuck in front of a computer all day for a year before my current trip for me being so anti-tv. But it is pleasant sometimes, especially because there really are a lot of amazing movies. I really can't stand horror movies though, like I don't think that is something I'll ever be into. I hate being freaked out. I love laughing so comedy is my number one. Like Will Ferrell movies, absolutely loveeee. Even though I know it consists of what most would call "stupid humor", I love it. It's so ridiculous it's great. Step brothers is the shizzzz. :) Then movies like Seven Pounds (anything really with Will Smith, he's amazing too), Enough (Jennifer Lopez is awesome), Happy Feet (I just think penguins are the cutest) and well mannyyy moree. :)
I love basically all music, except for country. The twang I'll never be able to accept. haha I like a variety for sure, artists similar to the following and much more: The Dream, Trey Songz, Mac Dre, The Temptations, Devin the Dude, Breaking Benjamin, Escape the Fate (before the singer changed), Panic at the Disco, Never Shout Never, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, random Hindi and Nepali music that I'm not too sure of the artists names, and well much much more. Definitely not Justin Beiber though. I hate that kid.
As far as books go, I like reading, but honestly don't get too much time to do so. Currently I am reading a great book called, "A Fighter's Heart" by Sam Sheridan which has inspired me to learn Muay Thai and Juijitsu once I reach back to the states. I know how to box, but time to step up my game. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ridden on an elephant in Nepal, that was awesome. Even took a bath with one. haha
Basically just traveling around to quite a few places in Asia. The amazing things I've seen there are worth more in speaking rather than in writing, it's just too much and too complicated some of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about different cultures and new experiences. Sometimes I just don't try something due to not being given the opportunity. Also, if there's something I can teach someone else about, I'm always down to do so. But I can't exactly lay out all what I know how to do on the table. More through conversation and what-not. I'm kind of a scatter brain sometimes. haha
