I'm Jossie from Jakarta, a corporate girly by day seeking to discover what I truly want to do with my life. Maybe this is what people call a quarter-life crisis? I enjoy conversations over food (but really, who doesn't?), long walks by the beach (despite Indonesians being famously lazy walkers, according to Stanford), and ice cream (because those walks can get pretty long).

I did my first solo trip in 2024, visiting Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and hoping to do more in the coming years. But for now, I enjoy taking some time off in between business trips so I'd love to meet new people along the way, exchange languages and cultures, and who knows, maybe we'll cross paths again somewhere else in the world 🗺️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because hotels don’t tell me where the real good food is, won’t debate life with me at 1 in the morning, and definitely won’t introduce me to their favorite hidden spots. I’m here to understand the place I’m visiting beyond the tourist lens and the unexpected adventures in between
