Overview
About Me
Hey, I’m Josué! 🌍 I’m a Colombian-American currently based in Philadelphia, though I’m often on the move exploring new places. By day I’m a software developer, but outside of work I’m passionate about fitness, biking, cooking, and discovering local food and coffee spots wherever I go.
I love good conversation, cultural exchange, and connecting with people from different walks of life. Friends would describe me as thoughtful, curious, and creative—I’ve always got a project going, whether that’s learning a new recipe, planning my next trip, or diving into design and storytelling.
When I travel, I like to balance city exploring with slower moments—sharing meals, trading stories, and just enjoying good company. I’m respectful of people’s space and routines, but I’m always up for a drink, a game night, or a spontaneous adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travel is about connection, not just destinations. Some of my best memories have come from people I met through Couchsurfing—like hiking in Tucson, exploring the redwoods in Eureka, and being shown around Philly by locals. I’d love to continue those experiences, share stories, and discover new perspectives.
