About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Survive my bachelor thesis
ABOUT ME
While traveling I eat with my eyes.
I like random talks with random people. I met an Indian girl crying in despair while I also lost my bus to Amsterdam in Paris, that taught me a lot about how a small talk can help.
I am Peruvian, South American and heir of a lost empire. I consider myself lucky and, therefore, responsible.
Sometimes I care a lot, sometimes I don't give a shit. But I like to think that I'm always building something.
PHILOSOPHY
I like these three ideas:
1. 'Omnia vincit labor improbus' as Virgil once said 'Tough labor conquers it all'.
2. I believe in the existence of one-in-a-lifetime opportunities to change your path. 'Kairos' is the greek word for that.
3. I think that every single moment is dedicated either to Eros (love, life, creation) or Thanatos (hate, death, destruction).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Actually, I'm new to this thing, so basically I'm here as a parasite at the moment.
-As a prologue-
I am involved in a political discussion and action group in my country, aiming to restablish discussion spaces. That's concrete.
Since my experience as an Exchange Student in the Netherlands I am aware of how enrichening cultural differences can be and would love to welcome people interested in knowing more things about my country or for just doing some of the most human things: wander around freely.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Officially, none. I mean via these project. But before:
Spending a month in a communal house in a little farming town in Cajamarca, in the Highlands of Ayacucho and Ancash. All in Peru with schoolmates.
More recently, spend a night in the second floor of a random bar in Marrum, a little town in Groningen with some other friends while we were doing a bike trip in the North of the Netherlands

Trying to master the ability of opening bottles with a lighter thanks to the wise teachings of a South African friend.

Would love to teach some salsa or merengue steps.
