I'm going back to school to get my master degree to become a librarian and I try to visit a different country on each continent!

ABOUT ME

I'm someone who look shy on the outside, but I love to have a good talk with pretty much just about anyone. I lived in four different cities in less then a year and I started to go on trip around the world two years ago. I started by visiting my own country, but i'm preparing a trip to japan for january 2012.

I'm a 27 years old man who work in a school as an archivist (reader manager?). I got a female cat called Alexie and I live with a roommate who's around my age. I'm a really curious person who tends to say too often his own opinion :)

I'm offering my support to guide anyone around the province of Quebec.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, but I like the idea behind it to save up on money and meet a lots of people who can show me a side of their country that I could have miss. Also, i'm the kind of person who thinks that a trip can be fun depending on the people you meet!

Interests

I love having a good talk around a drink while talking about politics, history, environnement. Just like anyone, I also like to just talk about past experiences and enjoy a good time.

I really enjoy hiking and surfing (even if there's not really a spot for it in Quebec).

I also try to practice just about any sports. I'm really curious about other cultures. I'm a beginner in korean and japanese language, but i'm definately trying :) I also enjoy a good book from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Mr Nobody, Snatch, Hatchi, asian dramas, history/fantasy/psychological movies.

Books: J.R.R. Tolkien, Bernard Weber and many more whom I forgot the name...

Music: I enjoy any music as long as it reach my soul. Bob dylan, Eddie Vedder, Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash and a lots of punk music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really enjoyed surfing in Toffino. One day me and a friend decided to leave Quebec on a road trip to no where and we did a 1400km on our way to Gaspé.

I really enjoy LARP. It's a unique experience each time you wear a costume :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to cook canadian foods and sushis. I'm a french native speak and i'm pretty good with english too.
I'd like to learn japanese or korean eventually.
