I'm Joe, currently based in Phoenix, Arizona. Originally from India, I’ve lived and worked across a few countries, and I’m always chasing the next good story, conversation, or unexpected moment that comes from meeting someone new. I co-founded a couple of startups and work full-time in tech, but outside of that, I’m just someone who enjoys traveling without a strict plan, cooking when I get the chance, and diving deep into local culture wherever I go.

I don’t enjoy surface-level travel. I’d rather spend an evening swapping stories with someone over street food than ticking off tourist checklists. Couchsurfing is one of the few platforms where you can actually connect with people instead of places. I’m here for that.

If you’re staying with me, you’ll have a chill place to sleep, good music, real conversations, and probably a late-night food run. I can also share tips about starting a business, remote work life, or exploring India and the U.S. from someone who’s done both.

If I’m staying with you, I’ll be respectful of your space, your time, and your rules. I don’t expect to be entertained. I’m happy just sharing a meal or a story if that works for you.
