I'm a 23 year-old girl, from Taiwan, being an Au-Pair in Sardinia, Italy.
I graduated form university in 2017, and majored in social work. After graduated, I wanna to explore the world, that is the reason why I am in Italy. Being an Au-Pair gives me a chance to experience different lifestyle and also to travel around EU.
In my leisure time, I like to go to gym. Starting to do weight-training is a life-changing point to me. Before that, I was a girl who hated doing exercise. (maybe it's ridiculous to some people but I think it's culture difference) However, I started to do weight-training for fitness. At the beginning, it was tough, but as time went, I enjoy the feeling now. Moreover, I found my passion in it and decided to major Management of Exercise in graduated school.
Besides exercise, traveling, delicious food, and meeting different people are the important parts in my life.
For my personality, a little shy but always be open-minded to new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most important reason is --for living in a new city, not just traveling.
I think couch surfing is more than stay a night, it's a opportunity to have interaction with people who live different life style. Take an example from myself, I am an Au-pair in Italy now. As an au-pair, I live with them. I can know many culture difference from daily life, at the same time, the family also can know my culture, and I think it's good to both side of us.
When I travel, I am not just a tourist but a resident.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most of time, I listen to pop song, including Chinese and English songs. But I am willing to listen any type of music.
For the movie, I love comedy, drama, romance and action movie. The latest movie I watched was Ready Player One, and I liked it!
I read every kind of book, recently I read a memoir book- In order to live, which is autobiography of a girl escaped from North Korea. From this book, I know a little bit about North Korea, maybe it was exaggerate, but it's still a point of view.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deciding to be a Au-Pair in Italy, though I don't speak any Italian. It has been almost 3 months to stay here, and my Italian has improved day by day. It's not easy to live in a whole Italian family without knowing any Italian, but it's also a fresh experience to live in a totally different lifestyle.
