One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 1985 I sat cross legged in the palm of the giant Buddha at Wat Si Chun in Sukhothai, Thailand, out in the middle of nowhere, peaceful and quiet. In 2003 I returned with my boyfriend at that time to re-experience it. Now a Unesco World Heritage site, we had to wait for a break in the tour buses but it was still magical.
