About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to help people and have them help me. I think listening to what others have to say helps on you reflect on your thoughts that you can't really figure out on your own. And to get to South America.
ABOUT ME
I'm normal looking, a real U.S.ian- not the stereotypical one that foreigners have described to me as ignorant fat. I am, as I feel about much about real Americans, am proud of who I am and where I came from and I am interested and continue to be educated about the people and countries around the world. What I spend money on: food, travelling and concerts. I am serial concert goer and try to go to Music Festivals as much as I can, I thrive in those situations.
PHILOSOPHY
This is a tough question, I believe that it's always changing. So I guess my philosophy is to adapt. Also to be happy and to make as many people around me as happy as possible. Good people attract good people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by telling other to really think about themselves and their surroundings. I believe the downfall of our society is complacency and apathy. Think, change (if you need to).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I personally have not had one, but my friends travelled through Europe and couch surfed in Italy. They met some really nice Israelis guys who hosted them and that took them all around and showed them all the cool spots.
Interests
I'm a music lover. The Black Keys are probably my favorite band. I love electronic, hip-hop, classical, indie- basically anything I can groove to. Bassnectar blows my mind every time. I'm a chronic TV watcher and just got into Parks and Recreation. I love the outdoors. I just finished a bike ride from San Diego to San Francisco, it was amazing and really gave the time to self reflect after graduating. Hiking is probably my favorite hobby and I plan to hike the Pacific Crest Trail one day (Mexico to Canada). I'm also currently training for the LA marathon to support Breast Cancer. Skateboarding!!! Football!!! And I really want to go hang gliding.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Forest Gump is my favorite movie. I just saw Let the Right One In, an awesome Swedish horror film about a vampire and a new friendship. Action movies are awesome if they're made well, like District 9. I love comedies as well, my favorite: Anchor Man. I am Ron Burgundy?
Music: like I said before, all kinds, open to anything. I like bangers like Zed's Dead to beautiful folk like Sean Hayes.
Books: I'm currently reading the Brothers Karamazov, one of the most beautiful pieces of literature I have ever read. East of Eden changed my life. I love Kurt Vonnegut, he is a mad genius.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done was ride up the coast of California. Going through Big Sur and the Redwood forests North of Santa Cruz was one of the most beautiful things I've ever experience. The trip also gave me a lot more faith in people with all the help and assistance the people I met along the way gave me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm education in Sociology, Political Science and I am a huge history buff. I read often. Ask and you shall receive, what I know. I've been independent for a long time and had to grow really fast without parents, so I can teach and share the experiences I know. i would love to learn about different cultures. Language is fascinating and I hope to learn about the similarities and the difference and how that reflects in ones own life and culture.
