I am an English teacher who loves reading good books, drinking tea, painting, trying new restaurants, hiking, going to live music shows, and exploring new cities. I’m new to CouchSurfing, and hoping I can find some cool hosts for my trip to Europe this summer, and then host some people when I move to Quito, Ecuador in the fall to teach there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught English in a rural Ugandan village - the people there were so welcoming and hardworking - it was my first experience living abroad and I loved it.

I can help you practice English or give you my favorite cookie recipe. I would like to learn about your local city, and practice my spanish if you speak spanish. I can share stories about my travels to Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can take you out to dinner. I will also be quiet, clean, and respectful. I’m happy to share travel stories and teach you how to cook my favorite recipes, or stay out of your way if you prefer.
