My name really does suit me, it's like my mom knew as I entered the world that I would have a pretty happy & fun-loving disposition. A little bit about me, I am a very hard worker at everything I do, I love helping people and making people feel happy.
My life's work has been dedicated to improving the lives of young children by teaching, mentoring and supporting the adults in their lives. I am a community leader, an entrepreneur and a visionary, I am best known as Teacher Joy. My favorite thing people say about me is that I'm a dreamer that gets shit done!

Running a nonprofit is not very profitable it says so in the title.
couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to fill my need for traveling and meeting new people and going on adventures and still being able to spend my life living out my dream of changing the world.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't like seafood, other than that I really don't like saying no to anything. I enjoy adventures, pushing myself to limits and enjoying rewards from hard work.
I have this helpful spirit and hospitality that I bring with me everywhere I go.

Musica, film e libri

All kinds of music! I haven't met at tune and I haven't liked, I am grateful for the skill musicians put into the art I love watching live musicians play and feeling the music and I also love hearing new things.

Books... Oh the places you'll go, where the wild things are, silly Sally, what do you do with an idea, my many colored days.... So I really love kids books it's kind of what I do...
Adult wise, I love self-help and inspirational books when I have time. Living Joy, mindset, seven habits of highly effective people, boards on fire, the emotion code and stuff like that.

I do love to sit down and watch a good movie, something emotion provoking. I'm not into horror but I do love a good adventure or something with a good storyline. Corny as it sounds, I have always loved the movie 50 First dates because of the setting, it is what is bringing me to Hawaii.

Only one, I've had a life full of adventures! But I do have to say, raising three amazing sons that grew up to be great men has to be the top of my list!!!
