Very new to couchsurfing, so please do not let my lack of connections on here put you off just yet! I am a 22yr old American backpacker. Love traveling and visiting local spots. I was born and raised on a small horse farm in Georgia and have been blessed with a pretty big family. I enjoy going to abandoned places and exploring off the beaten path. Hiking, camping, finding work where I can and making friends along the way. I love to bake and cook as well as try out new foods. Also, I am a tidy person and I respect people's space so I do everything I can to clean up after myself and help out with basic chores :)

I am on Couchsurfing to meet people while I am traveling in AUS and to learn about the places I go to through the eyes of someone who knows the area. Looking for people to adventure with away from the tourist spots.

兴趣

My interests include travel mostly these days and finding new and exciting hikes or abandoned places to check out. I am interested in bee keeping and got to spend a week at a bee farm recently, which was really informative. I am interested in learning about new cultures and trying new foods especially. And if I enjoy the food I will be sure to have someone teach me how to make it. I enjoy going for a good run every day or so and getting to see the local setting and having a bearing on where I am as well as seeing what the lifestyle is like in that area. I enjoy living a pretty fast paced lifestyle myself but every week or so I like to just take a break and have a lazy day watching movies or just relaxing with friends and baking. I always am interested to go to a good comedy show or live music night. I love to cook and bake so if you have a recipe you've been wanting to try I'd love to try t out with you :)

Comedy, Action/adventure, Some rom-coms but I'm pretty picky. I like happy endings always though :) I really like 80s movies like the Breakfast Club.

One amazing thing I have done would be an internship with a group in Kenya for 9 weeks. It was absolutely eye-opening and an incredible life changing experience getting to know the people there and learn about their cultures. I absolutely will be going back one day, hopefully soon.

I have been catering events for a few years so I know a bit about cooking and could teach you an incredible bread/pizza dough recipe among heaps of other recipes that I have from home. I have done a bit of studying about cultures in subsaharan Africa as well as have visited Kenya so I would be more than happy to share all I learned in my time there.
