I was born in Massachusetts. When I was 12 our family sold the house and moved to a farm in Iowa. We lived out west for 6 years before returning to Massachusetts where I did my senior year of high school. I attended 2 years of college in Mpls. Minnesota where I studied music. I married a military man and we were stationed many places. I have lived in 11 states.

I am and artist and a musician. I love to have friends over. I love to cook and garden. I love outdoor activities such as hiking and camping and swimming. I enjoy quality deep conversation and long walks with friends. I am a nature and science lover and I love to read autobiographies and science books. I have been a teacher, nurse aide, and a Mother. I raised three beautiful children who have made me proud.

I originally joined couch surfing to avoid high hotel bills. But I do love the idea of hosting people in my home. Even though the home is mine, it is still technically my Dad's; so I would need to ask him before hosting any travelers. If it was only my home, I would host to anyone in a heartbeat because I am a very hospitable person.

I love all kinds of music from ancient to folk to classical to pop, rock and rap. I love music from all over the world. I don't only like to listen to American music. I love movies about science, history, and nature. I also love comedies and romances. I like to read medical and scientific and historical books.
