Hi there! My name's Joy. I'm a singer/songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist. I recently returned to the U.S. after spending some time living abroad in England. While I was there, I studied music at Keele University, and began recording my latest EP, "Fever Dreams," which charted at #4 on the NoiseTrade Pop Charts. I love to travel, I love to hike, and I especially love chocolate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an independent musician, and I'm embarking on a national tour by myself. I'll be hitting both sides of the U.S. I'm really wanting to make my dream of playing music for as many people as I can a reality, and to have a roof over my head every city I go would be amazing.

I'm a huge Kurt Vonnegut fan when it comes to books. I love the TV show Grey's Anatomy. I love listening to Oasis, George Ezra, James Bay, and British singer/songwriters. But I also love listening to EDM, country, and most other genres. I'm open to anything.
