Hi, my name is Joyce, from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and I have been living in Taichung for 4 years. I was major in lit, now studying in Kraków for my master degree. I'm a person who really needs a book most of the time. Apart from reading, I love traveling as well. I usually have my trip by myself, since this is the best way for me to spend more time to know a new place and have different exciting experiences. In 2016, I had a chance to study in Prague for 1 year, so whenever I had some time, I always planned a trip to other European countries. So until now, I have been to Austria, Germany, France, Poland, Slovakia, Belgium, Netherlands, England and Italy. Therefore, if anyone is going to Prague, I could share my own must-meet lists. Or I could give u some suggestions about traveling in CZ. Apart from CZ, if any of you need some tips about traveling in TW, I would like to share it with all of you!! I like to talk with people and also grab some drinks together, since this is the best way to share some special experiences. Moreover, meeting new people always bring some inspirational ideas for me to encourage myself to take more challenges. Briefly speaking, life is kind of like taking challenges and enjoying it. I have bee living in Poland for almost a year, for studying polish and master. During my stay in Poland I got chances to be close to nature, and I could say I love it! So any of you love nature and want to go somewhere for hiking for example, I would like to join for sure! Anyway,till now I’m not so sure about my next step, but probably staying in Poland or somewhere in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never left my country before, but after I got a chance to stay in Prague for a year, I knew I want to explore the world more. Moreover, I think coach surfing is an exciting way to know people around the world. Although I couldn't host other people recently, I hope that I could meet some amazing people and learn something from the host and people I meet during the trip.

Interests

I like to cook, after staying in Prague and Poland I'm trying to learn to cook Czech and polish foods. Moreover, I really love reading, mostly because of what I'm studying, and I love children lit so much. ( I have been teaching Children English for 5 years, so this is why I love Children stuffs)
