I am a creative, outgoing, geeky girl who loves traveling and meeting new people!

I am self-employed and a jack-of-all-trades. I travel and work lots of marketing shows and special events and as a result, I've gotten to see some really amazing things and met some great people. I am passionate about music (I sing, write, play guitar and piano) and love video games. I also love hiking, dancing and cooking.

Pets are awesome - I love dogs, cats and I've always wanted a pet snake. I also think kids are a lot of fun and used to tutor and teach piano lessons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, learning new things and exploring new places. I firmly believe the best way to do that is through experiences! One of my fondest travel memories was staying with a family on their farm near Cinque Terre, IT (most amazing hikes if you've never been there) and their ability to host and show me the lay of the land left a lasting impression on me and I would rather meet more locals than just stay at a hotel any day :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old school rock n' roll (aka Jimi Hendrix), the blues and EDM. Some of my favorite artists include The Black Keys, Glitch Mob, Ghost Beach, Zero 7, and The Birthday Massacre.

My favorite book is Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. I think he's brilliant! Currently reading the Sandman anthology by him because I feel like it's necessary if I'm going to consider myself a geek ;-)

Hayao Miyazaki is my favorite filmmaker - highlights of his that I enjoy include Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke. I tend to enjoy films that are dark or fantastical in some capacity like Pan's Labyrinth, Dark City and an old 80's movie called The Dark Crystal (the first movie ever made completely of puppets from Jim Henson Studios). I am also slightly obsessed with Olivia Wilde in Tron: Legacy so add that to my list too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hike in Cinque Terre, Italy. It's one of the most breathtaking and challenging hikes I have ever done and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you voice and basic piano/guitar lessons, teach you how to make delicious vegan food, educate on nutrition as well as scotch whiskey.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am big on respecting others' time and space and I'm clean... I have so many stories! My job is really unique and I've met a lot of cool people and experienced some really awesome things as a result. I'd love to share those with you! I also love cooking and would love to share a meal with my host as a thank you :-)
