ABOUT ME

Before now, I had never left the United States. Now, I have the traveling bug. I love experiencing different cultures and I especially love trying new foods. As the oldest of five, I hope my experiences motivate my younger siblings so that they, too, will want an international experience like I am finally having!

More specifically about me, I used to not like doing random things - always having everything planned out, agendas, schedules, etc. However, since studying abroad, I have changed A LOT. I love just seeing a pretty street and walking down it - finding something new and different! For me,even CS is crazy - which is probably crazy but I used to be a stick-in-the-mud. That is why I want to do it so much. Staying in hostels or hotels means you see the sights and leave without a true experience - that is not what I want to remember. I want remember faces, jokes, stories, recipes, etc.

Butttt.. I don't only want to experience, I want to share. I think there are a lot of misconceptions about other cultures - especially Americans and I want to show people all over the world that we can be great too! I live with two people from Madrid, one from Ireland and one from Australia and I love sharing my culture with them!

So I hope you let me accompany you in your home because I know that I would learn a lot and I know I can teach even more! And we can have a blast~!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I would like to couch surf and actually experience the culture when visiting cities. My favorite experiences have been with locals and with food (I love eating.) However, once I return to the States, I would love to welcome some surfers to stay on my couch!

Slept in 3 different countries within 8 days, rode a camel into the Sahara Desert and camped there for a night
