About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Heading to Colombia to do some research for a story I'm writing. Interested in meeting up with people that want to explore Bogota and perhaps to the south. Not the dangerous areas but perhaps on the fringe. Researching Plan Colombia & coca eradication

ABOUT ME

Went to the college for aviation and wound up a bush flying bum. I have traveled to regions I've been fascinated with, then explored more in depth once I get there. Example is SW US, moved to Vegas to explore the desert region of Arizona, Nevada, Utah, CA . Amazing experience. After that, went to Alaska and explored the southwest AK region. Flying small planes out of Juneau to Gustavus and the Glacier Bay area. From there to Yakutat, AK for a surf trip with the glaciers! Found myself flying in the remote AK bush region of the Kuskokwim River region. Tundra is limitless, and auroras to boot. Lately I found my way to the Caribbean and Puerto Rico. Awesome as well, have explored all the Caribbean and landed in Rincon. Home of epic waves and beautiful countryside. I found a little house there and will host one day when I'm settled in. Now onward to Colombia and see about my story....

Music, Movies, and Books

Of course everything by Hemingway. Lately read everything by Cormic McCarthy. Also been boning up on Colombian books by Ingrid Betancourt and Gabriel Garcia Marquez
All variety of music as long as its good. Just saw Taj Mahal live on tuesday, that guy is legend
Same with film; last good one I saw 'Was trouble with the Curve.' Clint Eastwood baseball movie. Liked it not just because of him (although that guy is timeless) but because of the all the dramatic elements that went into it. I guess this online class I'm taking has me thinking about the 3 Act story...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

too many to list
one that stands out was an aurora borealis that lasted for about an hour after an great snow day at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, AK after boarding all day. Great party at the base with huge bonfire, blue grass music, and jack daniels. The dancing northern lights were epic too
