Hi!

Wow, I (Jonny) haven't been on couchsurfing in a long time! Got out into the world and made all these grand plans for more but then just got stuck working, working, working, and forgot about the adventurous life.
My wife, Rozzy, and I are two Aussies who got married last year and we've just moved over to BC for 12 months or so. We're finally letting our adventurous hearts fly free again after years of working hard and stressing harder.
Rozzy has couchsurfed plenty, just not through Couchsurfing officially, and has lent a spare bed/couch/tray of warm scones to plenty of people along the way! I have stayed on many a mattress/couch/floor/concrete slab and have offered many a mattress, couch, floor myself, and it's always such a rewarding experience.
And now we're finally back out in the world! I was so excited to see the couchsurfing community still going so strongly, thankfully there's still a world of travellers out there keen to share stories and experiences.
Some of my greatest memories of my last adventures came from couchsurfing and I'm so excited to meet new people and experience new places again in the couchsurfing community.

I (Jonny) first couchsurfed in Vancouver 7 years ago. It was my first big trip, I had zero plans, and staying with a local and fellow traveller on my first night set in motion many nights of staying with new friends and experiencing a wonderful and unique way of seeing the world. I know that if I'd landed at a hotel things would have turned out very differently and so many memories wouldn't exist. Looking back over the past 5 years I'm saddened by the times I let the adventure in my heart die to the 9-5 grind. So we're both really excited to get back out on the road to adventure.

We love to adventure. We have so many plans and desires for our time in Canada/USA, let's hope we can get to them all!
We love to get outdoors and hike, ride bikes, swim, hit the slopes, play ice hockey, explore, etc. We also love to rest our legs with a movie on the couch. We love to find a new Christian church every Sunday to poke our heads into if we're out adventuring.
Rozzy loves to draw and paint and illustrate. Unfortunately we couldn't bring all the art supplies but there's enough to stay creative and be inspired as we roam this beautiful land.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Jonny tagged along with a documentary team that went across the USA looking for Bigfoot. 7 men in an RV for nearly a month, it was the most wild ride ever! It was seriously like that show Finding Bigfoot - night vision cameras, running through the woods chasing noises, meeting amazing, crazy, bizarre people, and hearing stories about bigfoot so crazy you couldn't make these things up!

Stories to ignite hearts for adventure! We can draw you a picture, cook you a meal, share a story, play a game.
We like to hike, explore, run around in the snow, ride bikes on road or in the woods, do local fun things only locals know, etc.
