ABOUT ME

Hi! My name's Jacopo and I live in Italy, 30min. from Milan centre. Actually I spend there much time, as I work just behind the Duomo!
I adore travelling, and I hope I'll do it as much as possible during my life! Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Canada, USA, Austria, France, Spain, Switzerland, Romania and the UK are the countries I have visited so far. I need to expand my list! :)
I love stimulating speaking, I believe I'm the kind of person you can chat with for hours, as I like listening what people have to say and talking about everything. It was a problem during school time! ;)
When I travel, I like experimenting the real life in the places I visit, and trying to familiarise with other people's culture. I am not that kind of person who spend all the journey vising cities with a map and a guide in their hands: I prefer meeting people and let them lead me in the real taste of their places!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing: in this period I have not much time to travel, but sometimes I do for working reasons, and if I can I stay 1 or 2 days longer to visit and meet people. Moreover, I sometimes organise some weekends during the year.
Hosting: I can offer a room in my home, half way between Milan and Lecco (about 30 min. by car each one). Como and Bergamo are also very close to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was in London in October 08 and met Liena from Latvia. We spent the day together visiting the nicest place of the city, including Downing Street - but unfortunately Mr. Brown was quite busy and did not receive us :)

Intereses

Sightseeing, art, history, conversation... and mountain bike (so if you have good places where you live.. tell me!).

Música, películas y libros

My favourite movies are The Cider House Rules, The Million Dollar Hotel, Pulp Fiction (I know all the Ezequiel 25:17 passage!!), Meet Joe Black. And I like the atmosphere of the 20s and 30s, so every movie set in that period!
Books: actually too many, but I think Le Fanu is my favourite author.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Shot a 3-episode movie with friends entitled "The kidnapping of Hannah Montana"..
Hahaha we had so much fun!!! :)

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Seriuos: finance, playing the piano (quite difficult to teach in few days).
Funny: Italian courses and.. forma mentis!
