I hitchhiked in the UK and backpacked around Japan and Couchsurfing seems like the same idea, but with a bed - meet a new person, learn about each other, leave for the next encounter - and in some cases, make a lifelong friend!

Intereses

I like comedy - not just that I love to laugh (though I do) but also that I'm fascinated by why it's funny, and why it's such wonderful pleasure to share a joke with someone. I also like unusual traditions, especially ones which the people who participate in them don't realise are unusual.
I studied philosophy at university so I'm always interested to discuss ideas with people.
All of the above is best done with a pint of beer.

Música, películas y libros

Books: An angst-ridden love affair with Milan Kundera, Dostoyevsky, John Fowles and Sartre. A bizarre relationship with Murakami Haruki, Borges, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Philip Dick. And, less pretentiously (but no less truthfully) I also enjoy Kurt Vonnegut, Isaac Asimov and Andrey Kurkov. If you like any of the above and haven't read The Blind Owl then you're missing out.

Movies: Kung-fu. Preferably with cringe-worthy 1980s American dubbing.

Music: Reggae or Industrial. There is no middle ground.
