About Me

ABOUT ME

Although I like to say I live in Amsterdam I was actually born and raised in a little village in the south of Holland. Knowing every single inch of it I moved to Amsterdam when I was 18 (which was the perfect time to go) to study medicines.

I'm really interested in people from other countries and other cultures. I would like to learn more about other languages (French and German especially). Because I don't have the money to go on holiday all year long I try to take other nationalities to my own home.

I am really into meeting new people and because of that be as hospitable as possible. As I like to cook it's most of the times possible to take a seat and have dinner with me and possibly my housemates.
Oh, and of course I'm open minded. Like everyone.
Besides I'mschmucSTOP... HAMMERTIME!

PHILOSOPHY

Hakuna matata, like it's the definition of philosophy when I was little thanks to Timon and Pumba. And I like it that way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host most interesting people whenever possible.
Since there are more guests than hosts I think this should be a good way to participate;).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I know the concept of couchsurfing very well because my housemate had about 25 visitors already. From Peru to Switzerland and back to Australia they visited our appartment. I really liked it when I had breakfast with a Australian guy I never saw before, when two girls from Peru ranged the bell at midnight and joined a party I gave and when two other French guests made a real French dinner. So that's actually why I launched my own account to have my own guests!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to watch movies with my housemates, all sort of types but movies from the Coen Brothers as favorites.

For music the same; all sorts of music are being played in our shared kitchen. Really: all sorts of music.
