About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My purpose is to somehow drag two ladies from the Czech republic, a German chap, and another woman from CT across the Continental US on a meager budget.
ABOUT ME
My party and I are a menagerie of skills and backgrounds between the ages of 20 and 26. We're not afraid to barter for sofa-space and we can cook, clean, and I've a relatively extensive background in fixing things (electronics, autos, tardis'). I've never done couchsurfing formally before, but I've always had a revolving door of occupants on my sofa (and my hammock, air mattresses, etc...). Hopefully I can develop a reputation for being fantastic guests relatively early in the trip as I'm worried about how this may work out.
PHILOSOPHY
No matter how bad things seem, it could always be worse. You could be engulfed in flames... Unless you already are. In which case, well, yeah...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I return to my home I'll house you lot in your adventures to scenic northeast CT. For now I plan on making you, the sofa owners, delicious food or fixing that leaky faucet or that pesky squeal when you take a turn in your car.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have slept on sofas all around upstate NY and Florida. Found it to be a good way to network and make new friends. Never got around to signing up on here until recently, though. I've also housed people I've met on craigslist on my sofas when I've had them, along with traveling friends and family.
Interests
I can't speak for my companions, but I enjoy reading, fixing things, making things, and just about anything I can on instructables.com. I'm also a fan of doing pen sketches and writing short stories on occasion.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm reading two books currently. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and a Brief History of Time.
I enjoyed watching Primer, Brick, Firefly, Dr. Who, etc...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lived out of my motorcycle eating wild plants while traveling the catskills and the area surrounding Ithaca for almost two months. I have helped run a laboratory where I developed government contracts and patents, later teaching courses in my methods. I've purchased and restored non-running, junked motorcycles twice in moments of need. All before the age of 23.
