About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see it all. To live it all.
ABOUT ME
Hey y'all! I'm a graduate student in the Massachusetts, but I was born in Germany. My family didn't live many years in Germany after I was born before moving to the States, but I travel back frequently. After graduating from high school, I spent a year there as a study abroad student and lived with a wonderful host family in Germany. The next year I lived in Senegal through a gap-year program called Global Citizen Year. Again, I lived with a host family; this time in a rural area, I helped my family with their peanut farming and observed the initiatives of an international development organization, the Millennium Villages project. I recently received my B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and am continuing on as a grad student in public policy. I study and work towards collective action social movements. I'm like worker-owned businesses (coops), brewing beer, rock climbing, biking, photography, community organizing, left politics, enjoying a good piece of writing in the sun.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, learn, laugh, and love. Fear is the root of all evils. Judge not others. Live to change the world - and have fun by exploring!
