Having finished my undergrad degree with no idea what to ~do~ with my life, I bought a one-way ticket Nicaragua. I plan on slowly making my way back to Canada, experiencing everything I can along the way. I am open-minded, easygoing, and I'm always down to meet new people and go on adventures.

Hostels are fine, yes, but so much more can be learned through getting in with the locals. The Couchsurfing community is built upon trust / generosity / mutual learning, and all of these things are super important.

Most importantly:
People.

Tied for second place:
Music and food. These things get me going. Especially when combined with people - music and food are so much better when shared. Even if I won't listen to all genres of music on my own time, I am able to appreciate it all. And I have yet to come across a food that I don't like. Try me.

Drinking and dancing are also very important things, but they go hand-in-hand with music and food.

I led a group of four 15-year-old boys on a timed canoe marathon in Algonquin Park, Ontario. We paddled and portaged a total of 162 km in less than 32 hours. It was absolutely absurd. Maybe I'll tell you the full story sometime.
