ABOUT ME

Back in the US!

My band, Kill Kurt Reifler, and I are back from our 8 months in Australia with some great stories and a new record to show for it. Now Kurt and I are on tour for the better part of 2011 and looking forward to rocking it, Amurrican style :)

With a solid 18 months abroad since I left in 09, including my time in Australia, I'm stoked to be back in familiar territory. And now even more excited to be back on the road. Hope to meet you soon!

PHILOSOPHY

Try to do what feels right. And if it goes wrong, at least it will be a good story.

兴趣

Music: all kinds. Sometimes I even think I can play it. When I play, I play drums or keyboard. Bit of a jazz head too.

Writing: I studied it. I like to do it and have been trying to keep it up since I started traveling. If you can stomach cheezy travel blogs, feel free to check mine out at www.vicarious-blog.com

Outdoors: I used to rock climb a lot. Not so much anymore. Nowadays, mostly I just like hiking, biking, beaching, generally being outside. But I've been feeling the climbing itch again lately. May have dust off my shoes and harness.

I trekked in Nepal, saw Herbie Hancock play at a hole-in-the-wall bar in Washington, D.C., and accidentally shot Jeb Bush in the neck with a bee-bee gun when I was 12...not lying.
