ABOUT ME

I'm a fun loving, adventurous Australian who enjoys experiencing new people, places and things. I'm an outgoing person who is keen to experience as much of the world as I possibly can and thus enjoy meeting likeminded people and sharing conversations, ideas, food, drink, music or anything really as long as they are passionate and enthusiastic about it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having recently returned home after several amazing years traveling, during which I had many fantastic CS experiences, I'm now setting about karmicly paying it all back by getting involved with CSers in my home town and generally spreading the love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done a bit of couchsurfing over the last few years and have loved every second of it. Have met some amazing people and done some cool things and look forward to more of the same in the future.

兴趣

My passions, roughly speaking, are music, food, wine and the finer things in life. I LOVE cooking (and consider myself pretty damn good at it) and am always keen to learn new recipies from as many cultures. I also play the guitar and am a massive music nerd, so i spend a large part of my time listening to/ reading about a wide variety of music, so am always open to new and exciting muscial experiences.

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Star Wars (the original 3, nerdy i know but i love it), Amilie, A Very Long Engagement, any movies by guilermo del torro, Jim jarmusch, and most classic/arty films, and also Inglorious Basterds now (its an instant classic).
Music: too broad to say, but anything from classic rock, punk, funk, jazz, soul, hip hop, drum and bass, folk and even a little bit of country every now and again, anything as long as its good.
Books: One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, From Here to Eternity, Slaughterhouse 5, Hunter S Thompson, Charles Bukowski

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking in the mountains in Norway, living on a tropical island in the indian ocean while growing up, catching a fish as big as i was at the time (when i was 14), seeing iggy and the stooges live in concert, going to both disneyland and disney world when i was 12, hiking and camping for 180 miles along the welsh coast (in pembrokeshire), doing the camino de Santiago (a 1000km trek across the north of Spain, attending the awesomely wild valborg celebrations in upsalla, Sweden

I know heaps about music, food, wine and many other fascinating things, and am always willing to teach others anything they wish to know because, after all kids, knowledge is power. Accordingly, i am always looking to learn as much as i can from whatever experiences i have.
