ABOUT ME

We decided to leave the comforts of home, our friends and dollar beer nights to explore South America. Jason has been tattooing for the past 10 years and while traveling throughout Central and South America is working along the way. Yojaira is...well...figuring it out. She´s a Philosophy major and is exploring herself creatively, spiritually and gastronomically.

PHILOSOPHY

Jason; take each day as it comes and keep calm and carry on.

Yojaira: there is something to learn from each person and experience and...as corny as it is...one can find beauty in everything.

In San Francisco I had a friend who hosted couch surfers and that was the first I heard of it and it always sounded interesting, now that we are traveling it seemed to be the right time to sign up...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We got to camp out in Portobella, Panama at Panama Outdoor Adventures, where our host Joshua gave us an amazing opportunity to explore the trails around his property and sleep under the clouds and stars in the middle of a second generation rainforest. We met some INCREDIBLE people through it and recommended us to sign up.

兴趣

We both like to read a lot and have been devouring books along the trip. We both paint, draw, and write and try to explore as many museums, galleries, and art shows in whichever country we find ourselves in. We love philosophy, photography, chess, cooking, hiking and a bit of camping. Other interests include good cinema, Radio Lab, This American Life and The Wire.
