About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To climb the German Ladder!

ABOUT ME

Hello! I am John. One day I woke up and decided that I would work in Munich. 2 months later I am here working as a contractor for BMW.

I am a somewhat Atypical American. For one, I do not live in the states. Two I know more than one language. Not fluently mind you, but enough to survive and flourish in my new home.

My family is a military household. I moved a few times growing up so I never got those childhood friends like most. It sucks but at the same time I am also not tied down to any geographical area. Home is where my family is, and I can never be more than a days flight away.

Expatriates in general are the true hope of this world. Sure nations have ambassadors, TV and the internet can give you infinite history lessons on other cultures, but nothing bridges the gap in this global economy like those who strike out and live outside their home.

Thats it for now, contact me with any questions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think right now the best experience I have had was the 2007/2008 Capitals season(NHL). I have been a fan since before I had a working definition of ice. To see them go from last place and an empty arena, to sellouts and their southeast title was intense. I may be an educated person, but no other venue excites me more than the Verizon Center.
