Hi all!

I am new to couch surfing so I still have to figure out how things work. About me, I am a recent graduate with Chinese roots but very much Dutch. I have lived in Leiden for 2 years, but my parents are from a closeby village so I am quite familiar with the surroundings here.

You can wake me up in the middle of the night for a good midnight snack (yes I am definitily a foodie) and I am also quite addicted to watching Chinese and Korean series. I have played badminton since I was 10 and I like to do both active things such as hiking and here it would be cycling, but also enjoying nature or a good talk with some good tea and chocolate :)

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I am planning to go to Japan next year spring and a part of this trip I will do alone. This kinda scared me because I do like to do things together with people and meet new people. Then I came across couch surfing and I really think this could be a great opportunity to meet interesting people and hang out with locals!

Even in the Netherlands I know quite a few internationals and I like hanging out with them. I just really like the diversity. Couchsurfing could be a great source to meet even more internationals and at the same time help them out by offering a place to stay and of course I also hope I am able to meet some people in my journey to Japan

Unfortunately I do not have any favourites, but just a lot of things I like:)

Music that I like to listen to is: urban, R&B, easy listening and I often listen to the "my favourite coffeehouse" album on spotify.

I like movies that leave a deep impression, for example Stutter Island and Inception, but I also enjoy (romantic) comedies and thrillers. I am not too fond of horror and marvel.

The best time of my life was my exchange to Nanjing. I have met so many great people there, experienced great things and saw amazing things.

I hope I can experience the same kind of experiences again using Couchsurfing.
