About Me

Hi! My name is Justina. I am a singer-songwriter and a theatre practitioner. I am currently turning a new page in my professional life and upgrading to Baroque opera performance. At home, I teach people to sing and curate open-mic nights in my neighbourhood, called "Scenos bandymai" (eng. "Stage experiments": www.scenosbandymai.lt). As a devised theatre maker, I'm into all things collaborative. I value cleanliness and peace but at the same time tolerate creative mess and chatter when it happens.
I'm quite fond of pets, and dogs seem to like me more than the cats do.

P.S.: I confess, brothers and sisters, naturally I am a homesitter. Best vacation? Find a nice place, look through the window, scribble in my diary, do NOTHING. It is only passion and continuous adventure in theatre and music that moves my butt up from the couch and out of the house. Here's to that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing to me is about trust in people and sharing. I often host friends of my friends, usually through direct inquiries. It is gratifying to share space with somebody. As a visitor, I have a lot of faith in local people. People of the cities are like keys to those cities. It is so important when travelling further from home - to find a home out there.
