About Me

I'm still not entirely sure this is real life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think is really cool to get/give advice about your home town.

Is such a pity when people invest mind, body, soul (and income) to travel and end up missing some of the most awesome things the place has to offer.

Interests

If I could I'd spend all my time drinking beer and relaxing under a winter sun.

But I also love to draw / paint / build useless things (basically everything you see on Buzzfeed DYI), write, sing and be in the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Freddie Mercury, Vinícius de Moraes, Jimi Hendrix and Rita Lee are the people i'd hang posters of on my wall. And I hate posters.

When it comes to books, I have the terrible habit of getting obsessed with some and reading them over and over trying to squeeze every last bit of awesomeness they can give me - It doesn't work btw, it's never as good as the first time.

Some examples are Jennifer Egan's "A Visit from the Goon Squad", Ian McEwan's "Atonement", Marcelo Rubens Paiva "Feliz Ano Velho", Art Spiegelman's "Maus" and all the Mafalda comics ever released.

(I'm also in love with guilt-pleasure epics such as Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter)

The last movies that made me stare a fixed spot for 30 minutes after watching were "Wild Tales" and "Melancholia", but I've also seen "Almost famous" more times than I'm comfortable sharing and would pretty much enjoy watching any Woody Allen or Tarantino that is on display.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are coming to Sao Paulo I'll be happy to help you plan your trip so you don't miss really cool things.

I'd also be glad to share with you my writing (and maybe drawing ;) )from the trip to your country.
