My name is Ulises Herzel and I´m 27 years old. I study History in the University.
I think I´m quite, cheerful and openminded, I try always to have fun and be positive. I really like learning languages because I think it´s an excellent way to lern about different cultures. I spent my childhood in the "Pampas", I was born in Bahía Blanca but each sommer I went to my mother´s farm in Pigüé (French migration-colony) and my father´s farm in Guatraché. As Argentine I love: "asados" with beers other wines and of course... my friends, and also I drink "mate" every day, when I get up in the morning, when I study, when I´m with my friends, when I sleep... oh that´s not possible :). I like Sports, a long time ago I used to practice rugby and tennis. Now I go swimming (when I can). I like very much travel adventures (with my tent and hitch-hiking), by the moment I´ve only traveled across my huge country. Here the train is very slow, but anyway....I love it. Travelling by train is my hobby... like in Couchsurfing you can meet new friends
Now I´ll go to Germany and know this beautiful because the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) has given me a scholarship... then I tell you!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One friend told me that he had a great and amazing experience with Couchsurfing. I believe that. Besides it´s a good way to know the real people of the country and to have an intercultural exchange. No one is better to show or guide you a place that the people who live and love it. And It´s possible to start a new and strong friendship.

Classic and Rock music (´90 rock music, i have two olders brothers (one brother and one sister), I was influenced by their music (national rock, and rock groups like: guns and roses, stone temple pilots, alice in chains.) I can listen different styles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A walk of 40 km on the route of "Los Siete Lagos" (seven lakes) (Neuquén Province- Argentina) with my heavy bag.
