About Me

I am a calm, creative person who doesn't judge people by their appearance and who greatly values their true essence and humanity. I was born in Ecuador but grew up between the United States and South America. I value good friendships. I have few friends, friends who become family over time. I believe that one of the greatest riches and treasures one can accumulate during one's life is traveling. It is very enriching and opens our eyes to many horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's important on every trip to spend time with the locals and learn about them, their culture, and their food. Beyond the scenery, museums, and cities, spending time with the locals is the most enriching part of every trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a specific music track; I actually like most genres, and in a variety of languages. I think it depends a lot on the mood and the occasion. I enjoy chill-out music, opera, rock, pop, and boleros in Spanish. Perhaps my least favorite is heavy metal. In short, I love music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most challenging thing during my university days was to climb a circus trapeze as a volunteer, and end up doing a somersault in the air, landing on a net.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is full of challenges, where we continually learn from others and from our own experiences, mistakes, and the challenges we may face. It's a continuous learning process, and that's why having the opportunity to travel and share time with others, whether they're the same or different from you, opens up a world of possibilities. That's why I'm open to trying and sharing new experiences.

Currently, I'm embarking on a new challenge: designing t-shirts, sweatshirts, and tote bags. This helps me as therapy, occupying my mind and unleashing my imagination. That's why, together with my friend, I created www.funkymonk.shop
