Hi everyone, thanks for reading my profile :-) My name is Juan and I am originally from Bogota, Colombia. I moved to the U.S. at the age of sixteen and, since then, I have lived in four different states: Florida, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Michigan. My friends say that I am nice, outgoing, friendly, funny, even though sometimes I tell really bad jokes, grateful, clean, and organized. I love learning about different cultures, meeting new people, and learning new languages - I can say basic phrases in more than 10 languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am graduating with a Master's degree from the University of Michigan in electrical engineering - control systems in April 2016 and I am planning to go to Europe for two months before I start my adult life. I have friends who have been involved with couch surfing before and they have told me great things about it, so I have decided to give it a try. I want to be able to meet lots of people during my trip, exchange stories and experiences, and make great friendships.
