Overview
About Me
You can call me Juanda! I'm a simple, funny and helpful man, that's how I like to define myself XD.
I'm proudly Colombian, but now I live in Sweden while I'm doing a Master with a long name (Computer Science and Innovation for Change in a Digital Society, you see?).
I believe that everyone deserves the same opportunities, and I work for that, through the use of technology and education. I love learning new things, meeting amazing people and living different experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to enjoy life while getting to know new places full of magic, history and learning, and I don't mean cities, I mean people :)
In my house in Medellín, I used to do this all the time. My house was the home of many people, always open to receive old and new friends. And I loved being able to help people to stay in a comfortable and quiet place, in a space where they could feel at home and save some money. And this was very well rewarded, because I got to meet people from many parts of the world, who even today I can call friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love salsa, bachata and other Latin rhythms.
I like reggaeton and rap a lot. I also like jazz and pop.
I'm a fan of superhero movies, especially Marvel. I'm a Potter fan. I also like animated movies, romantic comedies and autobiographical shows or movies. I'm a bit of a nerd, so every now and then I like to watch a good documentary.
I read a lot but my tastes are very narrow. I tend to read only autobiographies and non-fiction books, especially those about entrepreneurship, education, personal development, psychology and politics.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Over the years I have been fortunate to make contacts and friends around the world, especially in Europe and America. This has been especially because I belong to many global networks and communities on a professional level. But also because I love to travel and meet new people. All this networking I put at the service of my hosts, I will gladly help them to connect with many more amazing people.
I am a Zumba instructor and Salsa teacher. If anyone is interested in learning any latin rhythm, you will have the classes you want to become the life of the party.
