I am curious, love travelling and finding out about the great weirdness behind life and society's machinations. I'm happiest outdoors in the hills, forest woods, oceans, rivers. I've been told I'm a good listner and observer I also like to yarn, rant, blabber with friends or any independent thinkers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have had 2 great SC surfing experiences but still not hosted due to places and people I live with unfortunately. Soon though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used to do loads of hitch hiking and CSing (or haystack surfing in the barn) becomes a natural part of that, people invite you to their home. I think it's one of the greatest ways to "integrate" when in an unfamiliar place, people are dying to show you their locality and want you to leave having had a great experience. Nowadays it only works in rural areas, depending on the country, and I understand why people are reluctant to stop. Whenever I have a car (& sometimes by bicycle) I give lifts to hitchers, but they are in danger of extinction, in western Europe anyway.
