About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm have travelled a few times with CS and always had very positive experiences. I really like meeting people, sharing time and life experiences and making lifetime friendships. I am very passionate about travelling, I think is a marvelous way if being in a constant learning process- new cultures, food, life perspectives.
-A shared joy is a double joy-

Interests

I'm passionated about literature. It has been my long time hobby. I would be thrilled if you can suggest me new readings or authors. You will always find me with a book under my arm- or in my bag. Reading makes you dream and feeds your soul. It is the easiest way to travell.

My relationship with movies and filmmaking is more recent. I'm very curious, searching for new things.

I'm a photograph enthusiast. I always enjoy a good walk- under the sun or the rain- to places that make me dream and capture the essence of the moment. I think photopraphy is one of the most accurate ways to share your own perspective of life.

Food is one of the most important aspects of life. Not only because biologically it keeps us alive, but also because it is an expression of the culture and human relationships. Sharing food- either a meal or trying something new from the local market- is a magical way to stablish a new friendship. Those moments are never foresten.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find it very difficult to say which type of music is my favorite. I think it depends more on the moment you are living and the mood/soundtrack you want to give to that instant.

The latest great movie I watched is Mommy from Xavier Dolan.

At the time I'm reading Choke by Chuck Palahniuk. However, when travelling, I find fascinating to read a novel which takes place where I'm visiting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing Salkantay trekk in Perú. It is the most amazing way to get to Macchu Picchu. It is a physical- and emotional- challenge. You have to walk about 72 km through beautiful mountains. Being in such a deep contact with nature revitalizes your soul. I would deffinetly recommend it. After this experience I'm always looking for hikes and trekks.
