ABOUT ME

Hello!! I am juanma, and I live in Cuenca, I spend most of my time in Spain working in an adventure camp. I consider myself a person with open mind. I like so much to know new people, so you have my house if you need a bed. I think that CS is realy fantastic, because it give you the oportunity to know native people, for to change impressions, stories and know the culture of the place.

I am preparing my next travel to Indonesia and India, and I hope to meet new people and share good time.

PHILOSOPHY

I consider myself a open-mind person. I like to know the others opinion, and to debate if is necesary, but always with respect, if the other respect me and the others, of course.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to provide my couch anyone to want use it, but until now, anybody have requested it.
Right now I am traveling in east Asia, so I would like to participate like couchsurfer

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just have three experiences un CS, and one of them, was horrible. It was in Kualalumpur. A girl invited me ti her home. I arrived to her home late, it was hard to find the place, and when I arrive anyone open the door. The security wards kicked me out from the place and I had to walk a long way in a unknow outskirts (all of this at 3 or 4 am) until find a taxi driver who gave me a ride to a hostel.

The other two were realy good, so the percentage is positive :)

Interests

I like to know new places, and I travel always that I can. I am a animal lover. To visit natural places is one of the reason for traveling. I love the montains all the sports regarding whit it, trekking, climbing, canyoning, mountain bike...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the social movies. One of my favourite directors is Ken Loach.
I like many kinds of Music, like rock, punk, reagge, hip hop, electronic, flamenco...
As for books, I like adventure novels, historical or any books that can transmit some knowledge or ideas. however, lately I prefer to read assays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Several years ago, I was in national park of Yosemite, in California. I was surprised when I saw the giant sequoias. They are impressive.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like so much to cook. So if you want, I can teach you some Spanish recipe (always vegetarian), like tortilla, paella o gazpacho, mojote (always that I can find the ingredients in your city, of course). And I will be very glad to know your home recipe.
